No, I agree about the walkthroughs. But I found that it was enough to crouch... I just seemed to recall that underwater button from OoT on my ol' N64, so I was in "something's wrong" mode and went for walkthroughs on this particular challenge anyway.

I always just used the switch. I didn't know it was possible to backflip over.

The puzzle in that room is very simple, I just tried to backflip because it looked so tantalising... :P
Wouldn't recommend it as an alternative to doing the puzzle (except for earlier when I basically did that)
I really like the idea of Master Quest, I was loving all the new puzzles, but I never finished it! I got stuck in the water temple (blush) and then real-world work picked up and I didn't have time for a while.

yeah, I tried it too, but I forgot what made me stop. Anyway, you can also roll under that spike bar.

Oh hell I got stuck in the Water Temple loads of times just on OOT.

Can't wait to test MQ then.

Heh I think you can only roll under it if there's a switch to lower the water level.

You probably died then.

Dang, it would seem hard to stay on-topic to a thread whose question was already answered.

The not having a switch was particular to MQ, which I've yet to try out, so I guess you meant that, unless you really did die. XD

no no I specifically remember making it through, though that is unimportant.

I never said you didn't make it through, just questioned in how many pieces.
