Default Stick drifting with wirelessss gamecube controller/pro controller

I'm using the power a wireless game cube controller, which is essentially just a switch pro controller. In any game i load, the stick seems to be drifting back towards the camera, causing the character to walk towards the screen, and in Ocarina of time, the camera will start spinning in circles. I think it might be a deadzone problem but im not sure. I was wondering if anyone knows what may be wrong and how i can fix it, thanks!

Try calibrating the controller in windows, otherwise try increasing the dead zone like you said.
