I don't see why you guys can't release a public beta at certain intervals like every 10, 25, or 50 build batches release one and include support for an output file of sorts to be useful for bug submission reports.

Not that we don't trust that the money and donations are solely going to keep the website going and to help out with software and hardware expenses to test the software on, but lack of a public beta makes it sometimes seem like you guys are going the route of a commercial emulator rather than a freeware one and you guys are now in it for the money only in a "pay me for updates" type of mentality.
All we ask is that 1.6 gets some patches not just to a few things but the main emulator and the main plugins as well as documentation and language files. In the words of Dr. Evil... "Throw me a freakin' bone!" At least do start setting a time table for 1.7 and rethink about dropping out a few public beta builds to stir up public testing and bug submission reports. We all would like to help out. Help doesn't always require money. Time and effort also can pay off. |

Why not release SOME Public Betas? It would be helpful to you because we could submit Bug Reports.

Yes, but the only problem with that OniLink10 is that the creator of Project64 will not get any donations so he can continue the work on Project64. People can't just take of work to constantly work on what they wish you know.
