I am currently using a 2.2.0.9999 build from EmuCR that i downloaded yesterday. So far it seems it's working fine and fixed some problems i had with an older 2.2.0.3 version i had.
However, i am hearing that EmuCR isn't the best place to download builds to use. Is there some other place where someone can find recent builds? |

I'd just stick to EmuCR. There you'll get the emu directly with the only thing needed is a .rar or .zip extractor.
I don't know WHAT the hell is up the the downloads here on the site. It's an installation process. Now, I'm by no means "next" happy when it comes to installation packages of any kind as I like to briefly read exactly what I'm installing and that's the case here on the site. I'm always looking out for "DECLINE" as a means to prevent unwanted "additional" software installation. Somehow, however, the few times I've installed from here something ALWAYS seems to slip by and change my chrome settings, extensions, default search engine, etc... ![]() Until the issues are sorted out, stick to EmuCR. ![]() |

Or just open the vcxproj in Visual Studio, hit F7 and eat a damn sandwich.

Only zilmar approves changes to forum groups, so that's something to PM him if you want to.
Though, I'd just build. Quote:
It's about the same as opening a Word Document (.doc) and hitting Save. (Mind you, double-clicking a batch file to build the EXE automatically is equally if not even more simple, but Project64 is primarily presented with the Visual Studio .sln file.) You do have to do certain one-time configuration stuff, like go through the Options/Build menu in Visual Studio to switch from Debug to Release (or Release64 if you want the 64-bit exe and plugins), again stuff that would not be required if we had simple batch files to double-click to compile, which also requires zero knowledge in programming.

I can't download the new version from this website, Chrome blocks me and tells me not to go further because the file has a virus. From other websites as well, i am unable to download it,
I'm still on v1.6 |
