Hi, I downloaded Goldeneye for PJ64 yesterday and it worked just fine for me last night, but today, no matter what level I go into, the graphics are completely screwed up. It's kinda like a case of really, really REALLY bad collision detection on an actual N64.
In multiplayer, the player screens keep moving all over the place. I've tried it with both DX6 and Glide64, but it's the same. I'm using Vista, with a AMD Athlon 64x2 (1.9 ghz) processor, and a ATI Radeon 3100 graphics card. Some screenshots... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It looks exactly the same no matter what level I'm in. Also, a few minutes after I took those screenshots, I got this error: Unhandled R4300i OpCode at: 700009FC Unknown FB 3C FD 56 Stoping Emulation ! Any ideas? I'd love to be able to play this... |

Umm, try using Jabo's Direct 1.6 to start, then get back to me

Anyway... Make sure Aspect Ratio is set to Normal or 4:3, or in jabo's 1.6, uncheck Adjust game ratio to match yours. Also if you're using jabo's 1.6, toggle these on/off to see if it fixes it:

sorry I missed that, no need to be a jerk about it.
I notice your using cheats, you may want to try disabling them and see if that helps. And, what level are you playing on |

I re-installed PJ64 and it works fine now, even with cheats. I must have done something in the settings that screwed it up. Thanks for your help.
Now I have another question though... when I open Nagano Winter Olympics 98, I just see a black screen. This also happened to me with my first installation of PJ64. I've read elsewhere that the Nagano rom works, but this one doesn't seem to. Last edited by lewis94; 8th November 2009 at 09:06 PM. |
