New to PJ64
Using Win 8 on Surface Pro I want to use my wireless Xbox controller (Yes I have the usb receiver). The jabo plugin detects the controller but I am unable to map any buttons. It does not seem to be recognizing input from the controller. How do I make this work? PS: I have tried N-rage as well |

he probably used the nrage included.
DirectInput 7 has issues with xbox controls for some reason.

which plugin will let me use the left joystick on my wireless 360 controller for ocarina of time? got my ps3 controller to work perfect relatively easy, using the usb cord, but no luck with the wireless 360 yet. dont want to use the wire on the ps3 since the range is limited, id rather sit on the couch and relax while playing.
thanks for any help with this. ![]() |

man im still having trouble trying to get this 360 controller to work. think i might just save the hassle and buy a bluetooth dongle for cheap and use my ps3 controller. took me like 10 minutes to figure out the ps3 controller from start to finish and i can set the buttons up any way i want using the stock controller plugins from project64.

Hi guys, i'm using a wired 360 controller, mapped everything fine.
In Goldeneye, when i zoom in, the fire button won't fire - the fire button actually zooms out. How do others have their 360 controller mapped for this game - can anybody on here tell me if they can zoom in and fire at the same time. It's a long time since i played this game but there are sniper rifles on it - i'm sure you can zoom and fire. Thanks. |

Hey guys, I have a xbox controller as well and the mapping is working fine, but I just have a little question.
In oot or mm, if I want to z-target and walk backwards I have a hard time trying to do this. Because the xbox controller does not have any grooves in the ring around the controller stick (like a n64 controller would have), it's kinda hard to hold down and not have link to walk sideways. So my question is, is there a way to vary the range of a direction on the joystick so that I won't have a hard time trying to hold (and keep holding) down instead down-right or down-left? Sorry if my question is hard to understand. |
