Xbox One Controller for Project 64 2.3

I can't configure Xbox Controller for Project 64 playing Super Mario 64. I'm in the controller plugin menu and i selected a new profile and selected XIinput and tried to save it, it saves but the start button doesn't do anything, neither does any other button, would appreciate any help

My xbox one controler work for the 1.2 version of projet 64 but not for the 2.3.2 help

Did you set the plugged in mark?

I am having the same problem too. I am using the nrage input plugin V2 2.3c trying to play paper mario.
EDIT: Using outdated version, fixed it when using 2.3.2
