Default Is Project 64 Still Alive?

I've noticed there haven't been any update post in a while, or even status updates. I know people get busy and I'm completely patient with that, I was just curious if they are still actively in development or plan on updating eventually when they get more time.. And since their donation page (Uses paypal, even though it still refers to paymate) is accurate and was wondering how long it'll take to get access to 1.7 (I'm a patient person, but also a curious person) I have no problem donating to a project slowed down by life issues, but I don't wanna donate to a dead project is all.

PS:Sorry if this isn't the right place for it.

To be honest I'm not sure just as much as you. I've donated and enjoyed the changes to the core in the project, but the latest news is that Jabo has stepped away from P64 and we've not heard from the devs anything. I'm really curious and have been patient too.

$20 for 1.7 isn't gonna worth it. Get latest 1.6 and save $20 in your pocket for something else!

But if you really want the 1.7 that badly then you can buy it right away by donating $20 in. You'll become a project 64 supporter in an instant.

We aren't the developers, so we can't have any plans for it or know what they are. In this case, you might just want to go with your gut instinct on the matter.

How very astute of you, do you want a cookie, or the 1.7?
