I just prefer keyboard.

N-Rage and rabbideity worked on stuff like that in the N-Rage plugin though. The only one left who would be around to answer questions about getting X controller/device with X feature/rumble supported would probably be squall_leonhart, if you could stand dealing with someone who has about my level of patience. He pops in once in a while at the VBA-M forums to answer questions about his fork of N-Rage, rumble issues, VBA questions etc.

Otherwise you would have to ask around at EmuTalk forums and hope somebody there might know.

problem is, it has no markings on it. and the card board box says
"Classic Retro N64 bit USB Controller PC/MAC - Grey New"
maybe figuring if im using the actual drivers that came with it might help.

it did come with a CD but im not sure if its using the drivers.
do you think anyone can help?

And if that doesn't work like I said you can ask emutalk or bug the squall. Visual rumble works for me w/ my keyboard.

The only adapters that seem to work properly are the ones that are made by MayFlash. They usually come with software drivers that signal the controller to rumble as the default DX controller device drivers in Windows do not support force feedback. nRage is a ton more compatible than the default plugin and it does support force feedback from external drivers.
