FAT is an abbreviation of Fixed Audio Timing setting in PJ64. It shouldn't have any affect on how random things are. Only recompiler self mod methods could possibly affect randomness.

Try setting the CPU from Recompiler to Interpreter in the game settings. If you can run full speed with Interpreter, it's better to use it. If you have fast modern hardware, it should be ok.

Are you playing 4P game with 4 input devices? ( you have three friends? )

reason I am asking is input can cause overhead on the CPU with certain input plugs too, and I want to know if you have 3 friends. ;P

sorry to you all again for me not replying sooner. I was hoping to get back to you with results once I'd got together with some friends for more testing but life's been against us and we've had to cancel our get-together twice this week.

Hopefully we'll have a night of racing over the next couple of weeks, and as soon as we do I'll get back to you with the results.

Whatever happened to my 20s when we had all the time in the world and all that mattered was getting together for Mario Kart?

Also I would like to share settings with you, and make sure you have the best possible settings and plugins for that game.

The issues you have reported here, are not happening to me and I have a feeling its a combination of things.

When you get time can you list your system specs, plugins, and configurations?

You can take screen shots and share them, maybe? Drag and drop them into General in the Discord would work.

I know your newest post theboy181 was for justin8571 but I decided to try it and it fixes the insane speed for 4 player matches!

I have no clue if it fixed the other problems justin8571 is having but it fixed the problem I was having!

There is a limit of posts you need to have before you can post links and images.

According to the FAQ you should be able to upload pics. if you are trying to share links via a message I think you need a minimum of 20 posts first.

After clicking your link I clicked "User Control Panel" highlighted in blue.
I didn't see "Pictures & Albums" under "Your Control Panel" on the left side or anywhere else on the page.

Tried uploading again but says "Unable to save image". I'll try it again in 6 months or a year.

Found this on your link. Administrator may have to allow me to upload a pic.

How do I set signatures, avatars and profile pictures?

You can set and change your signature, avatar and profile picture in the User Control Panel (providing the administrator has made these options available).
