Use activators,everything is all weird,the fuckin' tree sprite freezes it!
I want someone to hack the game and remove that freezing tree thing.

What?!? (D-pad up/down=on/off)

D0281250 0004
8032024F 0001
Quickly enable and disable (d-pad up/down) when timing hitting an enemy to make bulls spawn,stops tree freeze if lucky.
Enter other areas with it active to have a bull invasion then quickly disable it and continue for a lot of Big Butts.
Will corrupt your save,use a savestate when using this code to revert the corruption.

The bull's name is Big Butt,so you have a lot of Big Butts with this code!

retroben, I want to ask, how do you find lagfix codes so I can try to find more for other games. Do you make an AOB search with specific values in mind on Cheat Engine or do you use the PJ64 memory viewer? I ask this because every game I tested with these lagfix codes benefits by not having any dropped frames on an entire play through without any noticeable side effects...

I use PJ64's memory search with the memory viewer for quick value testing.
Two ways to test for a lag fix,set CF=1 and change the 020D/020C into 004C,or set CF=6 and change the 020D/020C into 0D0C until one smooths out the framerate.
The most affective one is the CF=6 method.

If the game is still running smooth,get to a point where it is struggling,and then start the search and test the resulting value locations.
In some games some of the values change oddly,I am not sure why.
Perform a 16bits search in hex for 0x020D (or 0x020C if all fails) and test changing each one in memory viewer to see if it worked,if not,revert the value and try the next result.
They usually appear in groups from 0x80xxyyz2,so look for that pattern.
You can right-click results and reach them in memory viewer instantly to test more quickly.

Banjo-Kazooie is now PHENOMINALLY fast with the lag fix code when combined with the "Instant Area Entrances" code!!!
Suck it XBLA version!

Weird, sounds kind of like the NTSC vertical sync that you're modifying there.

Either that or it's just a coincidence.
Does your trick work with PAL? You might have to search for values greater than 550 video half-lines.

That's exactly what I mean, I own most of the N64 games I play on Virtual Console also but with your lagfix codes, CF=1 and VI=2200 for the games that don't break they play as the definitive version on PJ64, there is virtually non existent loading screens also...

Some Enemies Stay When Dead
8032631B 0004

Even Jinjos stay above you after being rescued! (zoom out)

Some Enemies Are Ghosts At Death
80326715 0001
02=Default
Jinjos stay as ghosts too.

Some Enemies Dwindle At Death
8032671D 0001
02=Default
Fading six times before disappearing.

Physical Time Stopper (D-pad up/down on/off)
D0281250 0008
803268C3 005C
D0281250 0004
803268C3 0060
Stops several things like enemies and objects,excludes time limits and 2D collectables like eggs,feathers,and notes.
Stuff is invisible if entering a new area with it already activated.
Really fun to mess with! Several combined instances cause a freeze,such as hitting invisible honey hives or frozen timing with teleport cauldrons then entering another area with it frozen.

Poorly Synced Timing
80326903 00FB
FF=Default
Many things get frozen in place and delay resuming time,you can get up to seven oranges thrown at you at once.

Some Activities Frozen Until Closer
8032692B 0038
30=Always Active
34=Default
Makes things stay frozen until approached really closely but some still freeze after interaction,some animations repeat or go stiff.

Alt Physical Time Stop
D0281250 0008
80326981 0010
D0281250 0004
80326981 000C
Possibly more stable.

Different Time Stop
D0281250 0008
80326997 0007
D0281250 0004
80326997 000B
Same buttons to activate,this lets you hit enemies infinitely when activated before entering an area.
Don't physically attack honey hives,use one egg at a time to avoid overloading the games ram with a crash.
Some already collected objects like extra honeycomb pieces and Mumbo tokens appear once again,some being re-collectable.
Doors also appear again,but you can walk right through them.

Enemy Movement Stopper
D0281250 0008
803269E7 0028
D0281250 0004
803269E7 0024
Same activators,stops all enemies without completely breaking stuff and uniquely needed enemies like Conga or Nipper.

Insane Repeats (D-pad left/right on/off)
D0281250 0002
81326A00 2400
D0281250 0001
81326A00 0C0A
Constant repeating sounds from everything except Banjo,avoid Conga,his Orange throws go insane and overload the game.

Conga's Orange Massacre
80326A05 0064
Shoot him with eggs to get destroyed by over a dozen oranges every time,he doesn't throw them when you are on the ground,so it is less crashable.

Invisible Stuff
80326A1F 0023
27=Default
Also some stuff not fully interactable.

Stiff Misc Animations (D-pad up/down on/off)
D0281250 0008
81326A28 2400
D0281250 0004
81326A28 0C0A
Enemies,objects,and other stuff like Jinjos.

Misplaced Object Layout
80326A38 00E6
C6=Default
Everything is like a horrendously bad layout mod,hard time to exit with the exit pad,you need to go out of bounds.
Many things move around randomly according to your position.

Weird Reset To Half-doubled Motion
80326A65 0044
80326A68 0066
Can't explain what caused this,works via loading a savestate in the lair.

Frozen Item Spawns
80326B97 0000
01=Default
Makes anything freshly spawned stay frozen in place and uncollectable.

Stutter Time Stopper (D-pad up/down on/off)
D0281250 0008
80326B9B 000A
D0281250 0004
80326B9B 0006
Defeating invisible enemies repeatedly makes many honeycombs spawn,honey still moves,but at a stutter.
I made myself invincible by glitching the Chimpy cutscene.

Later past 0x80326C00 address.

80327403 0014
80327405 00F5

Wildly Displaced Stuff
803274A0 0066

Exit pads are luckily more accessible.

Incorrectly Turned Objects
803274C0 0064

Image Change Madness
803275D3 0004
00=Default
Many objects (including your shadow) get the wrong image and even physically collide like them.
Will crash if you attempt to talon trot up the slope.

Wild Image Changes
803275DF 0001
02=Default
More stable,but really crazy with honey hives and Conga! Attachment is image of Conga with this,but inside a zip.
Don't worry,it is safe.

Really Strong Draw Distance
8032763F 0001
03=Default
Game sadly crashes out in some instances like crushing the huts,can see stuff from much farther away than usual,excludes musical notes.

Odd Enemy Behaviours
80327657 0004
I LOVE THIS CODE!!!

Some Stuff Acts Odd
8032786D 0005
09=Default
Can't explain it without being a large paragraph,but some enemies don't die and various things are weirdly broken.
Bottles appears again on the top of Spiral Mountain,but Banjo acts strange.
Turn around with Banjo facing away from the camera for a funny result.

Stronger Time Stopper
803278AB 0004
Stops all enemies and NPCs (oddly) excluding Chimpy while enemies don't die.

Stiff Animations
803279CF 0004
Enemies in T-stance move around and even Banjo's jump is affected,odd things happen when busting sheds.
Don't feed Chimpy because it freezes the game oddly.

Animations Various Speed
80327B7B 0004
Gruntilda under the boulder is hitting it faster,honey hives are slow bouncing,and bulls graze faster.

Variously Translucent Things
80327BBB 0004
Some slightly,some invisible,some visible.

Object Priority
80327BE7 0000
Everything is seen through walls and Banjo.

Confused Enemies
80327C6B 0000

Enemies turn in circles in levels while some outside levels disobey boundaries,NPCs like Cap'n Blubber also affected.
