Default question about entering codes in *.cht

I have all the gameshark codes for Super Mario 64 saved in a txt file. I new how to enter the codes into the gameshark cartridge when I had the Natendo 64 game machine. I am new to Project64 emulator for Windows (os Win7). Can someone please help learn the format setup for the project64.cht file. How would the following no music code A031D1AF DDDD be put into the cht file?

Steve

You CAN open it is notepad, etc. (I think), but if I were you I would enter them directly thru the cheat window.
