Rom list won't refresh

So, I've been having this issue where games that aren't even in the directory anymore won't disappear from my rom list. I've tried refreshing the list, and even making a new directory for my games, but every game that I've played in the past just lingers around on that list, making it really annoying to navigate through. Is there a way to fix this, or should I uninstall and reinstall Project64?
