Default DK 64 Keeps crashing

its annoyning. Im at fungi forest and my saved state of the game doesnt last longer than 10 seconds before it crashed. I changed my graphics plugin to rice daedalus 5.4.2, but still crashes. I wanna expand the memory, but it only goes up to 8mb and its been on that since ive used it. Dose project64 plan on fixing this? I hear alot of people have problems with it

Use native ingame saving instead of save states.

Not sure if or how DK64 has improved since I last tried it a few years ago, but it wasn't particularly stable if you played the game for long enough. You could even fall through the level and die when trying to climb a vine. I got to world 6 before I got fed up of it crashing. You definitely do not want to be using save states or cheats for this game at all.

We are talking about an emulator, it emulates the memory card as well, so you should use these saves instead of save states as save states have a tendency to be unstable (just play the game as you would on an n64 without quick jumping to a state but using the ingame menu to navigate to your save)
