Hello there,Iīm trying to make my own cheats for SSB.
Iīm using CheatEngine to make them and this program allows me change the value of the memory adress. The Projectīs cheat format is like this: XXXXXXXX XXXX. The first 8 X are the direction of the memory (I supose) and the other X are the value (I supose) For example I get in cheat engine this: 3AEA48F0 500, To add it to the project 64 cheats I writed 3AEA48F0 0500. The cheat engine show me the lastest 4X as a decimal value. If I change the valueīs type to Hexadecimal then the program show me these 0x0000500 more or less. But I canīt put these in project 64. The cheats for Super Smash Bros begin with numner 8.For example 8A2452B2 3A56.But I never could find codes as this... How I know the aunthentic Memory adress in the Rom for add the cheats in the .cht file? There is some program to make this? Iīm trying to know why donīt the cheat works. Please help me.How I enter my own codes to project 64? Thanks |

3AEA48F0 0500 is not a GameShark code, so Project64 1.6 will not load it.

Heh..some GameShark codes start with 80 or 81. The first two digits are a command modifier, and the six bytes after it describe the point in game memory to write.

I made a tutorial on converting cheat codes in the "cheats" section of this forum. Im thinking about making another one explaining how to make them with and without using software. Its kind of hard without making specific ones for each game. The codes work differently. I'll start with a Goldeneye tutorial. Then a SM64 one. SInce those are the games im most familiar with.
