Angry Error: cn64system runrsp unknown memory action

I've been trying everything in order to get SmashHD-Pietschie_and_Bad_Randolph 's texture pack mod to work on SSB64, and the closest I have come so far is using gfx plugin Glide64 Final on PJ 2.3.2.
It only loads 2809 out of 3024 (or 3025) files, and a few of them are glitched, for example hitmonlee looks like missingno, the glitch pokemon. I've tried rice 6.1.4, and when it actually recognizes my discrete gpu for directX it'll load some (EVEN LESS) of all the textures. I don't want to use this rice though because it doesn't have texture caching. I've tried 1964 video as well, which is based off rice to no avail. Lastly, I've tried the middle ground, Aristotle's Mudlord & Rice Video 6.1.8. It adds texture caching, but I keep getting this error - cn64system runrsp unknown memory action. Furthermore, this error happens on most of the 1964 video plugins as well. HELP ME. I've read numerous forums and tried so many different things. I even tried pj64 1.6.
I'm on Win7Ultimate on a Lenovo Y50-70 that has a GTX 860M.

Where did you get the texture pack?

I downloaded both links from here: http://www.emutalk.net/threads/44911...-Smash-Bros-HD

The emulationking link has 2,873 files.
The emulation64 link has 2,868 files.

Both versions load only 2809 textures. The title screen is different between them. The emulationking version has a misaligned band across 'Super Smash' logo. The emulation64 version has black gaps at the top of the logo instead.

I used GLideN64 to load the texture pack from here: https://github.com/gonetz/GLideN64/i...ment-321765676

I got it from this page of the forum - http://www.emutalk.net/threads/44911...Bros-HD/page32 - at download link - http://www.emulation64.com/files/getdownload/981/ - It fixes the title screen and is the most up to date version of the pack. You can read about it there. You can see in the download the title screen folder has a date of March 2014. I'll have to check the dates on the files you downloaded. When I use this download, some plugins will say they load 3024/3025 textures, yet not them all or some other problem.

I've used GLideN64 before as well, but it was public release 2.0. It comes with a lot of graphics problems. I've posted about it in the forums before. It'll make some characters look like cyclops or make the bubble shield only partially load. Lemme check out your files though and use that WIP build you linked and see what happens.

Thumbs down ugh

I downloaded it from the link on the forum on page 32 where the guy updated the archive to fix the title screen. I just checked and the emulation64 link is the same file from that page. It's the correct one with the updated title screen from 03/2014. It however, does not have 2,868 files like you say. When I extract the archive in winrar and move to my desktop it says copying 3025 files.

GLideN64 gives me A LOT of graphics problems with this texture pack (but is totally great without any pack) which is why I'm not using it. That's why I tried others in an attempt to get it to fully work.

I've been battling with this for hours.

Finally I found a Rice plugin that loads 2977 textures.

Rice Video Community version 0.4.4.
http://www.emutalk.net/threads/54166...munity-version

I'm not sure what to look out for regarding errors. But it looks ok on first glance.
Give this plugin a try.

P.S. I checked the SMASH BROTHERS folder for number of files, right-click in windows > properties. I guess the counter when copying is counting the folders as well.

Now you know my pain. Thank you for taking your time out to do this!! Funny, I tried the same exact thing, the 0.4.4. I'll get that cn64system error. Are you using dx8 or dx9? OpenGL or directx? I'll try it again though.

Hmm, that seems accurate, probably is counting the folders too. Thanks. I'll screw with this one last time.

The 0.4.4 version uses only d3d9.dll, just checked with Process Hacker to see which dll's are loaded. You don't need dll's in Project64.exe folder for this plugin. You might need to install the DirectX9 redist from microsoft.

Using all default plugins/options in latest PJ64, except for 0.4.4 Rice, I turn off Fixed audio timing. But that shouldn't matter.

Sweet! I'm not sure if I have that installed, but I think I do. I have a 64bit system as well. Can you link me to the directx9?

Something I found out that I didn't have and thought I did... even though I checked plenty of times. On the 0.4.4 download page, it says you need MS C++ 2013 x86 Re-distributable Package. Turns out I didn't have this downloaded. Maybe that's the reason for my error. Idk. I downloaded both the x86 and x64, but if you could link me a x64 for directx9 or x86, both preferably, that'd be great.

http://directx-9-0c.en.lo4d.com/ <<< Here's where I got the directx9.

So I installed the C++ and directx9. My NVIDIA 860m is being used as I can see in the notification area gpu activity. Totally loads the title screen wonderfully, but loads NONE of the stage textures at all. It says 2977 textures loaded just like you, but I see none of them in game.

This is why I was trying to use a 6.1.8 of RICE.

You only need x86 versions for x86 programs.

I have Windows 8 64-bit, this is the DirectX9 I installed. But you may already have it. Doesn't hurt to re-install it anyway.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/down...s.aspx?id=8109

I must already have the 2013 Visual Studio C++ runtime installed.

Edit re- last reply: Darn it .
I've tried 3 versions of Rice 6.1.1 beta 10, 6.1.4, and this one.
(:
